Yes.
We're happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before discussing confidential projects.
THE BASICS

We can often develop fragrances inspired by existing products or work towards a similar fragrance style. However, we won't create counterfeit fragrances or intentionally infringe another brand's intellectual property.

The initial prototypes explore different interpretations of the direction agreed in your brief. You may prefer certain elements or one direction over another, and your feedback helps us understand what to develop further.
If none of the initial prototypes feel right, we'll discuss your feedback with you before deciding on the best next step.

Every project is different. Some fragrances can be developed within a few weeks, while others may take several months depending on the complexity of the brief and the amount of development required.
DEVELOPMENT

Every fragrance project is unique, so there isn't a single fixed price. Development costs depend on factors such as the brief, materials, complexity and the amount of development required.

Where possible, we can adjust the scope of a project to work within different budgets. This might mean focusing development on a single fragrance, limiting the number of development rounds, or simplifying the production requirements.
Bespoke fragrance development does have a minimum viable cost, so not every budget will be suitable. If you let us know your budget when enquiring, we can advise what's realistically achievable.

GROWING YOUR BRAND

Yes.
Every fragrance is developed specifically for your product and brand. We don't simply select a fragrance from an existing catalogue or sell the same finished fragrance to multiple clients.

Yes.
Your fragrance is developed to support your brand as it grows, and you're not tied to manufacturing with Oxford Cosmetics. If your manufacturing requirements change, we'll work with you to make that transition as straightforward as possible.

Some fragrances may include proprietary bases, accords, custom extracts or other materials prepared specifically for use in our formulations.
Where these are used, we'll continue supplying those materials where practical. If your manufacturing requirements change, we'll also work with you to develop a suitable alternative where possible.
Our goal is to support your brand as it grows, not limit where or how you're able to manufacture your products.
